Soapstone and our CNC machine are used to mould a unique signet ring or at least part of it.
As raw material we use soapstone. Our soapstone specifically sourced and is free from asbestos. The main machine used for moulding the signet our CNC machine. We engrave a unique emblem or logo into a prepared piece of soapstone.
The soft stone is easily carved/moulded and is not degraded by heat/water or sealing wax. It can therefore withstand the heat during the sealing process. It is soft enough to be moulded, but still strong enough to not break easily.
Soapstone is used due to its soft material, which is great for CNC usage, and its resistance to heat, water and sealing wax. This is especially needed during the sealing process involving higher temperatures.
